EA keeps on improving on one of their strongest franchises, much to the delight of football fans everywhere. It’s been over 20 years since the company launched its first Madden football video game, and its latest release, Madden 10, raises the ante even more.

In Madden 10, football fanatics players can dictate their own playing level – you can choose to make play selection completely automatic by the game’s computer, or not. Before you play the game, you first take the Madden Test, designed to pinpoint your running, passing, run defense and pass defense skills. When the computer has compiled all of the data, it adjusts the game’s difficulty to your particular strengths and weaknesses.

It doesn’t stop there – each time you play a game, your skill level is automatically adjusted.

If there are some areas that need improvement, there’s a virtual trainer on hand that will help you improve on necessary skills. Other great features of this game include a Rewind feature, you so you can try a play differently again, along with a Backtrack feature, which allows the game to show you specifically what you could have done to save a bad play.

For control freaks die-hard fans, you can slip into Front Office mode, and manage every single aspect of your organization, from scouting talent to pinpointing salaries.
